Currently in residence in hilton adelaide.

Prior to arrival sent 3 claims re price gaurantee, claiming reduction in price. I have yet to receive reply. You do not get a reference number for online contact, but it states 48 hours for reply. it is now been 8 days since first contact, 4 since last.

contacted hhonors help line using chat function. operator could not assist.... "system accessible". please call this number.... sunday mornign 8am... "please call within business hours!"

contacted customer service online complaining about lack of contact re above. no reference number. No reply.

what to else to do?

spent way too much time on this already..... just isnt right though...

I've only ever once submitted a price guarantee claim and it was done via the front desk at the hotel (H-BNE). All no problems, they adjusted the rate and I was only ever charged that rate (though I never received any bonus ... is it normally a $50 credit or something like that?).

I think various people have got it to work and various people have not managed to get it to work so who knows, but I'm guessing they just make it as hard as possible so people give up. I'd suggest taking your evidence to the front desk and ask for them to resolve it.

End up getting a text from hotel mid stay, asking how the stay was. So took opportunity to bring it up. 1 phone call. 1 email, and they matched price. Alas no record of my customer support contact. No offer of compensation for price guarantee.
