Whilst this threat has turned humourous, I like the fact that it started out as another eclectic driver for deciding how one travels. I like reading what people think and do, in getting onto that metal cylinder in the sky. Either getting to the airport 6 hours ahead or deciding the cutlery draw, we all have our drivers. Would like to know how airlines handle calls, like which cultery is used.

<redacted> Never mentioned knives . Airport have advised and agreed. Is it only business and first class are not a problem. If you want to be treated as a second class person go ahead . Yes ,originally called MH in KL but was told call airport for current knowledge and who had more brains than you. <Passenger> are the problems with airlines , <who> like 2nd class service. <redacted> I would rather pay extra for the best than be close to you. Have travelled 39.000 KMs in 10 days, <redacted>.

I think Clive Palmer is back to flying commercial again!

Everyone has their own perspectives when it comes to what they want or expect from a carrier in terms of the soft product offerings and what's important to one person isn't necessarily important to the next. Specific to the OP, what might be helpful is if people can share their knowledge of which carriers (if any) that might be relevant to OP's question are using metal cutlery in Y?

I think someone mentioned CX already. LX do as well, SU iirc did pre-COVID but those aren't Oneworld. I souvenired a few LX tea spoons and have my morning coffee pretending to be on an airplane and not about to head to work.

I'd imagine some countries also have regulations on in-flight cutlery given potential use as weapons.
