Does anyone know if D class or C class is cheaper for CX biz class fares?

I take it that J class is full fare business?

thanks

It is... but you have to find it. Even if there is availability you need to find the fare rule that you can purchase it with.
CX are rather tight on J seat sales from what i have seen. (Even if they do sometimes have some really fantastic whY prices)

Evan - not sure I understand this - if J is full fare Business Class that implies it is the most expensive so surely the most available?

CX are not so tight in J, for instance roundtrip J to London from HKG is currently going for $3700 AUD all in and valid for travel until March next year!

By J i did mean any J seats, C, D, I etc.

If you find a good CX fare and like it grab it and book it they change there fares often. Day to day it seems to change for then, If you think QF yeild managment is strange CX guys seem to be smoking some crack or something.

I have booked numerous D seats on CX as part of DONE4s - never found them that hard...

Usually good D availabilty, its the fare rules that are not publish often.
So its difficult to find a fare rule that allows use of D.

This is essentialy what happened to me the other day, the fare booked into M and H class i think, or another flight K class, but they pulled the fare rule and so even though there was lots of availability you could not buy it.

I have used D a lot on CX as part of OW products but only once ever managed to book it direct.

CX is great for releasing I class airfares and not just for travel within Asia/SE Asia. At certain tmes I have seen some really good specials to Europe and North America.
