CX BIz Seats

The new CX lie flat biz seats are far superior to the QF skybed and will still be superior to Skybed ver 2.

Pros:
- Lie flat
- Huge widescreen TV (even bigger than QF First Class!)
- Excellent TV menus and handset which always shows ETA
- Good lighting
- Privacy
- More room than skybed (especially the shoulder area)
- Direct aisle access (you don't have to climb over anyone)
- CX attention to detail and service (shame on you QF)

Cons:
- Lack of storage, but once u are in lie flat mode, it is fine
- Have to look over your shoulder to see out the window
- Choose the upper deck as the seats are longer than main deck

To me, the pros outweigh the cons.

I rather fly CX J long haul anytime than QF J or even F.

I think the main con that you missed is the lack of couples seating. In that regard QF SKII would win out.

It is when travelling alone but not when travelling with a petrified mrssimongr who really hates flying...

Make the removal of all forms of social interaction a con for me, especially when traveling alone which is usually a great opportunity to chat up a complete stranger. :)

For reasons previously expressed I'd even go QF J over CX F - I know right, huge YMMV.
