Morning all. I am looking at a QF reward for F on CX. JFK - HKG (stopover) HKG - CBR.
Are there implications or extra costs etc in booking the first sector before the next sectors come onto the QF rewards calendar?
Thanks

Each change will require an award change fee of 5K pointer per PAX each time one or more changes are made.

There may be additional +++ to collect or refund as well.

If I book all the sectors at once as available, can I than request a new pushed out date for the last sectors (once available as a reward), thereby creating a stop over?
Is the best way to get a stopover? Hopefully, that is just the one change fee?

QF awards don't allow stopovers (unless you're going for the RTW fare). You can create one on the ticket, but in addition to the change fee you'll also be up for the individual cost of the sectors. Can work out pretty epxensive.

Thanks, I haven’t wanted to do a stopover on QF reward ticket before.
