As MPC is generating more interest these days on on this board I thought it might be useful to have a thread on op-ups from both CX AND OW carriers for MPC elites.

Ill start the ball rolling...

HKG-SIN 140414 Y to W on CX
SYD-SIN 190414 W to J on BA

Lower CX BIN numbers are known to increase op ups probability so please post your BIN no.!

This is currently the case but sadly will go away soon as they introduce a Commercial Value Rating for each pax similar to what QF has - I always have BN1 on CX flights which is easiest to achieve my using mobile checkin at t-48

15 Sep PER-HKG bid upgrade V-->PEY OPup --> Biz (non status Mrs WF on AA Biz award with linked PNRs)
This flight requalified me at CX Silver to May 2016.

With Mrs WF no status my MPC # in reservation changed to AA # at checkin to receive partner lounge access
PEY cabins were flown full on both segments - PEY seats available per ExpertFlyers 2-3 days before flights
16 Oct LAX-HKG CX881 0100 OPup at gate R --> Biz
19 Oct HKG-PER CX171 1455 OPup at gate R --> Biz

Speculation:
LAX-HKG overbooking in combination with the preceding 2355 flight
HKG-PER Sunday afternoon ticket overbooking Y cabin

Nice outcome from the Enhance bid! Would you mind sharing your bid amount? I tried this when it first rolled out for an ICN trip and didn't bid high enough

Hi yohy?! has CX removed the bin number for online check-ins now? I guess it's no longer important?
