I am wanting to fly to Da Nang airport Vietnam next May, I have a lot of Qantas FF points, and am a gold member. Nothing is coming up on the Qantas website for any flights. Can I book with another one world member using my points ? How would I go about this please ?

You can only use your QFF points on the Qantas website, for flights with Qantas and Qantas partners (including Oneworld members) where award seats are made available to Qantas members.

I think Cathay is your only oneworld option to Da Nang. But you's need to find an award flight available.

Aside from that, fly somewhere on oneWorld, and connect to an airline that does fly to Da Nang.

Looking at Wikipedia entry for the airport, no oneworld airline currently flies there, albeit MH Malaysian starts in September 2024.

I'd just be looking for flights to Singapore, Bangkok or even Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur and then just take a paid flight from there.

You can only use your QF points to book rewards via the QF website (or by calling).

It seems jetstar Asia used to fly into Da Nang but don't anymore. This may be the problem.

it doesn't look like CX fly in there either (looks lile HK express).

MH appear to be starting service in a few months, but yeah, I saw errors searching from KUL.

Looks a bit tricky at first glance.

CI is the only other QFF partner that flies there but I cannot see that route appear in searches.

Fly to Sgn with J* (even J) and may be available with Qf pts, then buy a cheap ticket on a LCC eg Vietjet from Sgn to Dad.

Sq flies to Dad from Sin but that is *A

I can say that flights from SGN (Ho Chi Minh City) to DAD (Da Nang) are frequent and not all that expensive, even in business class.

So consider flying to SGN and just buy the SGN to DAD ticket?
