Remember that when the next word starts with a vowel, you carry the last consonant across. So maybe it was more like 'Moe tet Chandon'?

Except Moët is the Dutch word in a French name - so it is a hard t sound for that reason (so Mo-wett) and not a hard t because if the following vowel (being the French language rule).

Yes, and the way it was pronounced sounded much better than just mo-wett although I think I’ve said it as mow-et. It sounded like mow-et a Chandon. The a sounded quite musical so said with a lilt almost.

How was the DOH-ADL flight? I hope QR J redeemed itself?
The DOH flight to Adelaide was good. We departed early. J cabin 2/3 full. The CSM was extremely proactive, busy and very friendly. He worked hard as did his crew. Received our amenities kits and PJ’s. Different style this time. I received S and boy, it sure was. MrP M and fitted snugly. As opposed to the offering on the way over. I didn’t eat much as we’d eaten a sandwich in the lounge (Ramadan) but alcohol was very freely available onboard even before take off. Flight was quite turbulent and seat belt sign on quite a lot. In the Al Mourjan lounge the reflection pool was empty and it looked awful. Maya be a Ramadan thing? We realised that the lounge upstairs was offering a better meal but was too late by then.

This was the first overseas trip where I’d not gained much weight. We had done a lot of walking every day. The food - we only tended to have 2 meals a day. The food on the cruise was good but not to our taste and we don’t have a four course meal at lunch and we don’t enjoy them. Also, most women found that their ankles were really swelling. I can only think that the food was too salty. Normally my ankles reduce overnight but this trip they stayed swollen until this week.

Decided to play along, so have been on the look out for Dalmatians since arriving is Split back on the 21st July, finally saw one when i was snorkling off the boat not fsr from Korcula on 28th July.

Will post a trip report once im home next week
