Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I'd go for the Riesling

Edit - actually it is also on sale at DM https://www.danmurphys.com.au/produ...ersdale-estate-cygnus-tasmanian-riesling-2019

Few options here - any opinions out there?
Reviews suggest the '19 is better than the '16. I went for the '19.

I guess it makes sense that DM and CM have the same items now. I ended up getting the Tollana Chardonnay @$14 for 6 bottles after the voucher, can't go wrong there.

Boozebud has 15% off via App, I assume it stacks with alot of their wines which have 15%+ with $150 spend.

Unfortunately Dalrymple Pinot Noir doesn't have extra discount. I'll probably wait til there's 25% CB and take Qaz advice and take advantage of the price match policy as it's sold elsewhere for $30. It'd be a good drop at around $21-22

Not sure if anyone's interested, as lately it seems desperation to use a free $30 for cheapo wines is the "in" thing. I thought I was on OzB for a minute 👀

Xanaduwines.com have a sale on until Monday - 20% off code MYSALE20
banner says that wine club members receive 30% off - might be worth considering to join?
  • Xanadu Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 - JR99, CM(WF)96 - $85.41 @ AusCellardoor after 10% off (pm for code) - price match @ Dan's, Cloudwine
shame I missed the online tasting - 4x 150ml $70 :(

EOFY sale at Different Drop - 15% off a bunch of wines:

*edit - unfortunately not many wines stand out to me, and I have noticed that prices may have been slightly inflated (e.g. S.C. Pannel Old McDonald for $62 pre-discount at DD, $60 on S.C. Pannel website).
besides grenache and chardonnay:
$25.50
$27.20
Chenin Blanc: the world’s most underrated grape

- Torzi Matthews Frost Dodger Riesling 2021 - GW96 - $21.95
they also have the same rated 2020 at the same price (pm for free delivery code)

in case you're interested but unaware, 2019 is being hailed as one of the greatest ever for German rieslings, more so than the lauded 2015 - like their Australian counterpart, they can be a bargain compared with other wines/varieties, especially at entry level

Waters Wine had their JJ Prum pre-arrival last month, though The Wine Collective prices seem comparable after 8.8% Cashrewards and $10/$20 voucher, but their Clemens Busch offer is open until today, with single bottles cheaper than Wine Decoded's, which is worth reading for their usual detailed notes and available until this Thursday

Randall's have released their Von Hovel offer, which they import through Heart & Soil, as well as pre-arrival Max Ferdinand Richter

I can see Wine Club members receive up to 25% off? That's make it $82 + shipping.

Do you think Dan's would match? $82 is great value.

Boozebud 30% cashback at Cashrewards ($30 cap)

Unfortunately does not stack with APPY15 as you can't get cashback with app purchases

Also 15% cashback on wine at Dan Murphys via Shopback

Amazon has a couple of prime day deals. Penfolds tribute the noble explorer shiraz $22 before any cashback etc. I’m sure not an overly special wine but might be worth a try of a bottle with shipping free of single bottles for prime members

Winedirect has 30% off EOFY sale on single bottles (no mixed cases/secret deals)

I normally get this

Not sure how it would compare with others - but it is a delightful sparkling shiraz for under $12 a bottle. Free delivery for any dozen

Good opportunity to buy Pinot and use the Price Match difference refund.
I me ruined this above, $30 vs $35
Any opinions on these Clarendon Hills wines on sale at GWD right now? Or have I missed some relevant posts?
I don't have time right now, busy afternoon but I can post later what I ordered.

Some of the years are better reviewed, and some have much more life in them.

I've ordered others from Langton's, 2013 and 2005 - absolutely smashing! However, different styles.

I feel like BWS is out the game these days.

Btw that St Henri at BB sold out. I guess alot of people like it! I was going to buy 2, but opted out.

I can't find much at First Choice...

389 is $70 at Dan's with the 15% CB it's close to $60. It may be worth checking what vintage was available at your local.
