Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

So on that, (bit new here) what are the better/not so good vintages of BL CS and why?
New here as well. But Coonawarra CS makes up the lions share of my cellar and could talk BL CS for hours! What makes any vintage of any wine "good"?

In the end I think its an individual experience.
For me its drinking well now, rewards patience and value for money
Pay a bit of attention to vintage reports / halliday charts
In last decade '12 and '15 get best write ups, personally enjoy '10 (can see not everyone does!) and '13 and steer clear of '11 and '17 for any verticals
Pre '10 is auction circles really. There is tasting notes going around celebrating 60 years of back vintages which may inform buying if its pre '10 you're after.

If you are keen on vintages others are not then that is even better as can usually jag a bargain!

I just had one of the most amazing customer service with Kemeny’s!
I ordered some 2013 Stevens Sémillon. One of the bottle seemed off. Maderized or what ever (rust on screw cap, wine colour different than the others).
I emailed Kemeny’s.
2min after I received an order confirmation with a replacement bottle on the way!!!!

I have bought a bit over the years from Kemenys and always found them reliable and easy to deal with. After some bad experiences, I have a growing list of online retailers I will not buy from, but Kemenys (and few others like MyCellars, Different Drop and Aus Wine Centre) are a pleasure to deal with.

Picked up 3 bottles each of the 2016 & 2019 Penfolds Bin 28 with first choice yesterday during the CB offer. With the special FirstChoice had ($33.25 in any 6) - $10 first time buy - CB ($25) reckon I got them down to bout $27 per bottle...plus I believe there was some Flybuys offer as well. Quite happy with that. Works out to be about 50% RRP (not that I would ever pay that)
Today you can get $35pb (or $33.25 per six, can mix & match vintages). TENOFF for 10% off. Currently 10% cashback with Shopback (not seeing a cap). Gets you to about $27pb. Vintages from 2015 through 2019 onsite (stock may vary by state).

Similar promotion @ Vintage Cellars with 7% cashback

2019 389 comes down to $67

as mentioned earlier, vintage cellars: to clarify have wynns black label cs: 12/13/15/17/18. 3 for $100 deal or about $28 per bottle (with ten off and shopback) plus cellar credit. Might be helpful if looking for 12 or 13 not at 1st choice.

Qantas chat this morning stated that the vouchers are sent today or tomorrow.
I still haven't received anything. I can't seem to find the chat feature on their website? The call centre staff I have spoken to don't know about the offer and my email with the offer attached hasn't been responded to. QF are blanking me!

Any tips?

I received mine last Friday and used it right away. Chat is a popup at the bottom right.
I would chat or call to them again and proof the promotion with a screen shot and the order history Request the manager if that doesnt work.
If that doesnt work you could write a pointed post on their fb site, their social team likely will ask for details and go from there.

I've been contacted by a qantas wine advisor a few times and he's been very helpful - Neil Jarvis.

I would email or call him and ask him. Details below;

Their generic help centre is an absolute disaster. Queries go weeks before being answered.

Thanks for this, just changed browsers, I'm guessing some of the anti-tracking/adblock extensions attached to my firefox browser may have been blocking the chat feature. I am going to go the route below and if I don't get any satisfaction I'll public name and shame. Cheers

Thanks for this - called the number and got a helpful agent (Rachel) located in Australia who is looking into it. Apparently they have a list of addresses where the email has bounced back and my name wasn't included so I should have received it (nothing in my junk and or accidentally deleted). The agent said they would email their boss and get a new voucher generated. What would I do without this forum!

Nice one. Also it's $50 CB per transaction. So it seems multiple transactions allowed.
Remember to use GC to stack
Tempting to grab some E/Hardy Chardonnay with 15% off.

I know 1 single 2011 Moss Wood available at $98 at Dan's, but it's 35 minutes away. I already got 6 X 2012 😬
