Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Oh really? What didn't you like about it?
I've had a few bottles and gave one away.
Honestly from what I recall, I think it just contained a bit too much acidity, sour cherry, or spice for my liking.

I don't remember thinking this when I had the first bottle, but the last bottle I had was mixed between some really big Shiraz and Cab Savs.

I haven't drank this style of wine often, so like I said it's probably just not my style.

Issue is trying to find what they've decided to reduce during that time.
I'm only usually interested in reds, so I use this query to see what's been reduced. The issues being they don't do it all at once so you have to look a few times and you need to know the usual prices.

We have a dedicated thread on my Forum where people post the ones they find that they think are worth looking at.

This time it was mostly Harry's Monster, Feathered Friends 2019, Mitolo GAM 2018 ($27.50), Woodlands Clementine 2017 ($30) and a bonus mention of Gosset Grande Reserve Brut Champagne $60pb

You found something worth buying? I couldn't find a damm thing
Marcel Pierre Champagne NV, I've started buying for friends Xmas bubbles, this is one of the better NV at $30 or under, so around $25 with the Cashback, they went through a few dozen of it last year, hope the current batch is just as good. Blass Grey Label Shiraz @ $26.60 was an option, but I bought that last time and have enough.

I reckon the Wolf Blass Grey label 2017 at 26.60 in a 6 is not bad if you can get decent cash back. You just need to match with some cheaper wines to make the CB work fir you.

I swear there was one a few days ago aswell, so there will probably be another next week
There was, I was hoping to go again 😀

Alcohol % and drink to dates don't match up?
Now that is weird, when you log in to Halliday, entry for evangelist NV has same alcohol and drink to as the mystery wine, and same description word for word as the blurb on the winestar evangelist entry (which carries a different alc and drink to). Totes weirdness... but plenty circumstantial links to this wine

F/Friends seems to fluctuate, it's worth grabbing at $12.50 - hence the
previous post, quite possible it will drop a little in the next week or so.

Anyone else having Auspost delivery issues?

My Boozebud order hasn't tracked in over 2 weeks from the cash back sale recently. They are saying it's Auspost delays and there's nothing they can do.

it's a bit location dependent, I had a Nicks order from 29 August not move for 2 weeks or more, finally delivered on Wednesday 22nd. Other Aus Post deliveries, wine and non-wine from other places have been quite fast.
I have a Boozebud order delayed since shipping on Sep 7th, yet another later order arrived days ago.
