Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Winestar has a Pertaringa Shiraz as under wraps deal, now $12.50.

Mystery MV202 McLaren Vale Shiraz 2020

Description of review makes it sound like a bargain - Serious concentration, lusciousness and great length, this is powerful but balanced and focused with attractive silky tannins here. Love this – a gorgeous wine. Has a good decade of sensational drinking ahead of it. The intensity of this wine is maintained the entire length.

I would grab a 6PK, but 12 is too much for me.

I have the 2019 from vm and enjoy it more than the more expensive over the top shiraz

Happened within 4 hours for me. Give it a day and contact them - I found them to be quite receptive

Wow 4 hours! Took 4 days for me but eventually tracked correctly. The $50 bonus had to be manually processed.

Potentially good bargain for Moss Woos CS down to $54 after 10% 6pack and 20% cashback if can find stock @ $75.

I downloaded the Cheddar app today and it was only $20 bonus on the first purchase, and for some reason when purchasing 6 bottles on the BWS website the 10% discount didn’t get added. But it has tracked, so definitely worthwhile. Let’s see how long it takes to get the actual cash.

Were you logged into everyday rewards? I believe you have to be logged in to get the extra 10% off on 6 bottle purchase

Make sure you use Cheddar app - thanks to @misohoney for the tip.
Overall using the cashback this brought the final price sub $40 for First Growth buying a 6 pack
Looks like this 20% BWS cashback at Cheddar doesn't restrict Penfolds purchases (other sites do).
Whilst their prices are generally high for Penfolds, stacking with 10% for 6 and 20% (no cap) brings some down to reasonable(~auction) prices.

People are forgetting Cheddar is a new app, still developing and literally no one has been paid out yet.

No one even knows if any BWS Cashback will payout, forget pending.

They may honor some stuff, they may not when they realise they forgot to include it. Infact, the app says alot less than alot more and I doubt anyone is reading the terms & conditions.

I would be very very careful buying anything based on cashback savings in general, because you can't return wine.

I would only ever buy wine, based on the buy price and if there's cashback there's a bonus.

Penfold prices seem expensive, I have wholesale access to Penfolds and St Henri's is $90 in a 6PK, 389 is $70 in a 6PK.

Unfortunately these major retailers get massive discounts from bulk buying because you can normally save 10%+ more on single bottles with cashback.

I would not worry too much about cheddar fear-mongering.

It’s backed by CommBank so I’d say that the credit risk is extremely low if not zero.

Certainty a lot safer than Shopback given who is backing it.
I signed up to Cheddar yesterday and purchased 1 bottle of Stefano Lubriano Pinot Noir from BWS, it doesn’t seem to have tracked at all. Not sure where I’m supposed to look but it says 0 pending deals and no recent transactions. ShopBack and Cashrewards allow you to look at click history etc - I can not see many options in the app. :(

Click on your profile, then select More Info and it will list details. Mine took a day to show up.

As above, it took a few days for my purchase to show up (though it was over Easter and didn't collect for a few days which may have impacted).

You can contact customer support, the "Commbank" backed App seems to have only a single support person.
He seems to do the job tho!

My Moss Wood CS order from yesterday still didn’t track.
I’ll wait few more days before shooting them email but even before the 20% cashback It’s good value @ $67.5 p/bottle.
