  • 2021 Joshua Cooper Balgownie Vineyard 1970 Block Cabernet Sauvignon - MB96+, JO/HH96, WA(EL)95+, GW95 - $75.20 delivered
rated by each critic as the (equal) best of all Joshua Cooper wines made yet, including a rare corroborating high score from Jeremy Oliver

if you're interested in Super-Tuscans:
cheapest around, rivals 2016 for perhaps best vintage ever/yet
$352 duty free Sydney Airport

thanks but $352 duty free becomes $387.20 with gst, which is almost $389.75 :)

Hello! I’m hoping it’s ok to ask this here - I could be a complete Philistine asking this question….but which are the best sites to sell Sami Odi? Im guessing it could well be Langtons but would love to know if there’s any alternatives. I I only have 3 x little wine 10 to sell. I spent years trying to like the little wine 7 I had but it’s just to floral for me! Thanks in advance !
you could also approach your local wine store - $110 is towards the lower end of the secondary market

Totally! For some reason I find them very perfumed & would rather have a Rolf Binders Bullls Blood!
not Bulls Blood, but Cellar One have 2018 Rolf Binder Hanisch Shiraz for 15% off at $75.73 delivered in a 3pk until 9am AEST next Monday (15% off all 3pks)

This website claims to have 2018 vintage and a pop up suggests 20% off for the first order. No idea about this website but maybe worth investigating Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 - Aged & Rare
SIGNUP20 - Cannot be used on items found in the Aged & Rare category

i got art series shiraz at $27.50 and was happy.
I got moss wood at $106 and was happy.

Those prices are a steal.

I figure we have the Epiqure thread, and the VM thread, but this might be a good place to list other wine deals so that they aren't so easily missed.

DM's have some secret deals right now: https://www.danmurphys.com.au/list/...epage&medium=slot2&campaign=carousel-tracking

As per other threads, the Champers is Taittinger and the Shiraz is Wolf Blass Brown Label.
Well, ain't a wine snob, but best value is actually the De Bortoli Sacred Hill range, under $5 a bottle for prize winning quaffing wines and a glass of red a day cured my gout.

Picked up a 6 pack of Moss Wood on clearance at a Melb BWS last week which contained 5 x 2017 and 1 x 2015. Hoping all have been stored ok and not sitting on the shelf all this time.

In Noosa for the week this week and on clearance here as well so see how we go for a single bottle with the 30% cashback.

Bottle of 2019 in the BWS Noosa lucky dip.

Glen Eldon - Twisted Trunk.
From memory this was offered on VM a while back. Not sure what the verdict was on the 2018. I used to buy this in the early 2000's when it was cheaper (and better). I'll buy 1 or 2 bottles at $35. Love to hear from anyone who tried the 2018 when it was offered previously

I had some a few weeks back. I have liked Glen Eldon wines in the past and have had worse for that price. But not amazing. May cellar ok. I think there may be more compelling deals around at this price pt (eg, the Seppelt St Peter's that went on cellardoor for $37 recently).

I have ordered 3 bottles from the Wine Collective and tried one. My impressions were that it is not a very well made wine and lacks balance. It is too extracted/concentrated a bit syrupy and jammy with a bit of the sweetness on the palate. I believe there is a reserve version of this wine that is supposedly better. Here is a pic of the bottle that I received.

Same. I ordered few year ago, and don't like it.
