Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

ellen10, you have been missing out, go to the Amex connect site, register, and keep an eyeout here

The spend $120 get $20 credit is no longer available as far as I can see.

Steady, is he spend $120 get $20 targeted? It's not showing for any of my Amex cards?

Manual link?

I cannot see the spend $120 get $20 link either.

We agree.

It came up on the 2nd May so I suspect it is fully subscribed to now, I don't recall seeing a manual link.

I got it on the Edge but not on the Explorer

Yeah I though it was odd, I've ordered three though delivered, I didn't want anything else right now and the CR and Wish Card took care of the delivery fee.

I can order three more at midnight if I like...LOL

Hmmm I have to have the order delivered as the only DM in Tasmania is in dear old Launceston despite Hobart having nearly having nearly half the state's population! Can you drop three bottles in today and as you say another three post-midnight to bring it up to the 1/2 dozen (I presume) for delivery or will it disappear from the cart?

Based on price point and region I thought it might've been the Fox Creek Reserve - has the same alcohol content as the 2013 and 14, but I'm not sure if the 15 vintage has been released yet?

I doubt Fox Creek have any need to discount their flagship to get sales... :)

Now you have the power, use responsibly.

Your strategy is sound AC. Less flexible, but remarkably effective when faced with a McLaren Vale mystery wine, might be to just visit the Ulithorne site and then the Mitolo site. It feels like you might find the answer more than half of the time just by doing that.

Not being especially big on coughtails, I was not familiar with the Negroni. What's a "shiraz negroni" anwyay? Shiraz standing in for gin, in equal parts with Campari and vermouth? I think I'll pass!

So I wanted 3 more bottles of Mt Pleasant OP and OH Shiraz 2014... Not content with United Cellars " out of stock " message so I asked them to get me 3 more... please...

3 arrived today...

Has anybody tried Save Our Souls wines, co-made by William Downie, such as their pinot noir, which at ~$24 is more affordable than his eponymous label?

They were mentioned in James Busby Travel’s 2016 tour report (itinerary), which is the kind of wine trip that I'd like if anyone’s interested (to organise one)? :)

For fans of German rieslings or dessert wines, Dynamic Wines has the 99+pt Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Beerenauslese Riesling 2015 for $107.99 (375ml) with TAKE10OFF

Nice - Don’t suppose you (or anybody else) has a sign-up voucher or promo code for them, such as the Star Privilege Pacific one?

WineSquare still has the 2014 Rosehill for $45

This is available for just $16 a bottle. Its a lovely Cabernet and has further aging potential but drinking well now. Remarkable value when you factor in CR and Wish Cards. Seems it's only possible to order three bottles at a time at this price though.

Regularly available at 50% off from McWilliam’s through their Family & Friends and Entertainment Book offers :)

Is anyone going to tonight’s Dan Murphy's Cellar Shiraz Showcase?

I have 4 $50 CM vouchers but no AMEX offers. Still waiting to pull the trigger but hope AMEX does a general CM offer.
