Picked up some Wynns CSM from DMs for approx $9.60/bottle using the usual discounts. Bargain for what is a very drinkable red.

Haven't tried my Costco US credit card in Australia for the 2% rebate. Citibank run it so I need to do a smallish purchase to see how much the foreign exchange works out.
We need two Costco stores in Perth.....

Beautifully boxed:
...
I'll tell you in morn my thoughts.

Looks like their regular Meshach/Shadrach boxes, with the Corryton printing on it.

The boxing, cork enclosure and the big bottles make me think it was a 'made for China' export wine. The lack of any reviews by JH, HH, JO or the WineFront guys, for what should be a new flagship wine, leads me to think it was never intended for domestic sale.

Clearance time again at BWS. I picked up:

The mid-week quaffer:
4x 2013 Bleasdale Mulberry Tree Cab Sav @ $8.05/btl

Bought on WB reputation:
4x 2013 Wolf Blass Original Collection Cab Shiraz @ $14.70/btl

The safe bets:
3x 2014 Chris Rigland Shiraz @ $10.85/btl
6x 2014 Penfolds Max's Shiraz @ $14.35/btl

The bad news:
I hadn't topped up on e-gift cards, so I could have saved a further 5%. Nevermind.

Are prices in store different to prices online?
Are BWS prices national or is it store by store basis?
cheers
Also, I see every now and then some posts RE a penfolds pricing error that happened last year on cellarmasters? What's all that about?
cheers

Unfunkable you and I are both out of luck, I've already been to Erindale Woden Tuggs Kambah and Mawson and nothing to be deleted.

It's store-by-store - whatever lines that store is looking to delete.

The pricing thing was when they had a description of one product (from memory it was Saltram #1) but they had picture and pricing for Mamrr Brook or similar.

Bloody 'ell, those are very competitive prices deleted/clearance notwithstanding!

I guess I should check our local BWS but I never think to as everything I buy tends to be on-line these days, nice price on the Yalumba btw!
