Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

This looked like a good deal until I found I could not order anything. Half the products I select are labelled SOLD OUT.

I want to spend some money and it's a pain/chore to select available products.
Similar $50 off $149 at Cracka. Any suggestion?

I ended up grabbing
Ardbeg Corryvreckan 700mL
Jack Daniels No 27 Gold 700mL
William Grant Ghosted Reserve 21 Year Old 700mL
Bit of everything different, pot luck and read reviews
[h=1][/h]

I got the Ardbeg Corryvreckan and Ghosted Reserve 21YO and a Woodford sampler.
A few months ago Bowmore 18YO for under $140 was not honoured/fulfilled and refunded.
I have a feeling that this might be the case for the Ghosted 21 which is on back-ordered. Elsewhere is $260.

It's unusual for spirits/whisky to be 33% discount across the board. What's happening??

I haven't worked it out yet, but I'm confident it's the same as this Vinomofo offering - $100 RRP Barossa shriraz 2014, 98 points TK, 96 points SK, etc:
https://www.vinomofo.com/wines/red-wine/black-market-deal-shiraz-2014-25524

Edit: Allegiance Wines Unity shiraz is my guess.

It's been around - also at Cracka:

With the My Bottle Shop purchases, are you guys using the same account and code multiple times or it involves creating new account? Oh by the way the newsletter spam code is "thanks$20" which isn't valid.

Anyone else receive a $50 Cellarmasters voucher from Woolworths Mobile that expires this Friday? My code is WOW***652M - are others the same?

For those in Melbourne, Rathdowne Cellars has 20% off any three or more wines until this Sunday (in-store/email/phone) - makes [post=1648167]Ravensworth Shiraz Viognier 2016[/post] $32, which is cheaper than AusCellardoor's $33.21 after 10% off :)

Different Drop have 2015 Giant Steps Sexton Vineyard Chardonnay for $36 using EOFYS as part of their 20% off clearance sale

Eileen Hardy Chardonnay 2015 (96pts Campbell Mattinson, Winefront) $50 @ Cellar One (pm me for an invite with $20 welcome credit)

Leo Buring Leonay Riesling 2016 $24.50 @ Cellardoor.co

Would whole heartedly agree - went to dinner matching five of their wines some 18 months ago - only one wine received a pass mark and then only a pass and that one was selling for over $60 a bottle

I quite enjoyed a Qantas epiQure Vasse Felix dinner a few years ago with Virginia Willcock :)

united cellar secret deal pinot shiraz , i guess it's the andevine shiraz pinot.. $30 from cellar door and only $19.99 now, this is what i call a bargain. good review from winefront too.

An even better bargain would have been to use 75UCSAVE to save $75 and make it $11.74/bt :)

FYI Dan's has a members deal on De Bortoli Estate Grown Pinot - 2 for $32, so $16 each. I picked up 2 bottles on the weekend on a complete whim and thoroughly enjoyed them so have gone back for more. Tough to find a nice pinot at $16 a pop but would recommend to anyone interested.

Thanks - [post=1645384]check out The Pinot Noir Thread for this and other such deals[/post] :)

Yes, I had noted you'd posted but I thought I'd bring a visual aspect to the offer. I could have included all the notes, but decided that was overkill and many here would know the wines.

No worries - I'm a bit old-school and prefer the clean speed of full-text :)

It's not bad, but I'm not sure it's great value.
Voyager Estate 2011 is usually available for $40-45 via Epiqure etc.
I got the Benjamin for $71, the Abercrombie for $74, Jack Mann for $57 (is available now for $73 from CellarOne) and the DM direct for $110
So $350 (without the Moss Wood)

Sure, but are those single or case prices? :)

I got this about 10 mins ago:

As a little thanks for being a fabulous Cracka customer for what has been a bumper year, we'd love to shout you an end of financial year celebratory drink!

Sadly our CEO Dean can't make it all across the country to pick up the next round, so we've found an alternative from our friends at Clipp.

Clipp is a fantastic mobile app that manages bar tabs and offers great deals at over 650 venues around Australia. We're working with Clipp so that you can have a free $10 credit for your next night out* on us.

All you need to do is download the app and enter the promo code CRACKAWINES when opening your first tab. Then the credit is yours to spend at any Clipp venue!

We're big fans of this app, and we hope you'll enjoy Clipp as much as we do. Cheers, and enjoy your drink!

*Voucher ends July 31st and is valid once per person. New Clipps only.

Now I know nothing about Clipp, but all us AFF'ers who have accounts with Cracka should arrange get togethers in the capital cities with Cracka/Clipp buying the first drink.

With the My Bottle Shop purchases, are you guys using the same account and code multiple times or it involves creating new account? Oh by the way the newsletter spam code is "thanks$20" which isn't valid.

The $50 code has been turned off for guest checkout and is single use for account checkouts.

The thanks$20 code works when logged in to an account, for orders > $100.

wine direct 30% off sale

Zontes Choc Factory @ $12.60, with a M/C CASHBACK of $50 bought it down to <$8.50 / bot, couldn't not grab a box at that sort of
$$'s :)

Thanks WineNot for bringing attention to that one !

For the Wynns lovers, Wynns Shiraz for $10 per bottle @ DMs, today only. Sorry, not black label, but good price! :)

This is a good price. It's at least the 2nd time this year that Dan Murphy's have had it at this price. Grab a case and put it away to look at in 10 years time is my advice.
