Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

thanks for the clarification. I supposed then that there is no way I could benefit on this even if I caught this earlier.... Hm... that makes me feel just a little better now.

..and a new CM Mystery Wine starting to emerge...only details so far are
Mystery Shiraz (12 2014 x12
$160.00
Save $239.00

PER CASE

might be worth keeping an eye on?

Jeez they don't give much away these days... not even a region or rating.

They usually populate the fields gradually.
With a $50 voucher, 14% cashrewards (valid until 29th), and 5% gift card, it would bring this down to about $7 a bottle. After the Leconfield deal I'm keeping an eye on it.

The Leconfield deal was a steal.
Will be interesting what this turns out to be.
So if the price on this is $160 and you save $239, I make the "regular price" of this mystery wine $399 /doz.

A search of CM for 2014 Shiraz available by the dozen, throws up only one wine where the offered price + saving = $399 Blood Brother Republic Bbr Willunga Mv Shiraz 2014

There just isn't enough to go on, so my logic should not be relied upon until there's other data to support or discount my theory.

I think it's probably Black Wattle Mt Benson Shiraz 2014

I know the Black Wattle is produced by Dorrien, but I don't know anything else about it and I can't find any reviews. Anyone here tried it?

I'm tempted at ~$9/btl after the DRW tax.

So Dorrien means its made for Cellarmaster correct? Thats what I gathered as well. I've held off due to not a lot of information. (and not a lot of storage space for dozen buys)

Boom !! $160 - $50 Wine Voucher -14% Cashback... Weird as it shows up as $145 in Cashrewards so even more off !!!
I'm pretty sure cellarmasters gives the cashrewards based off the non-GST initial total price

Im just contemplating if it's worth grabbing a case of Casillero Del Diablo Carmenere from Dan's. Although a mass-produced quaffer, I recall it being a half decent one. The whole range of Casillero del Diablo is on special at Dan's. Managed to dig up some reviews from Tony Keys who gives the 2014 Carmenere and 2015 Cabernet a decent nod. 2015 Carmenere got 92 points from Mike Bennie if im not mistaken.

At $50 a 6pack - 3% CR & 5% egift, plus local pick up (a luxury!), brings it back to around $7.65 a bottle.

I got a bottle of the Carmenere the other day. It is indeed half decent. Especially at $50/case.
