Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Still only gets me to $188.09 - I kinda meant is their any small item I am missing that at least has some value considering I drive right past door of 2 BWS on my 10min commute to and from work each day.

Cheapest item is a carton of (24) Squashed Pear cider for $30

Good time to stock up on Xmas champagne

You mean that you haven't already? :)

For once I'm happy with the $15.95 postage fee to make the Wynns a great price, especially since all the Pear Cider is gone

Gday all,

RWT 2014 on Cellarmasters for approx $111 a bottle (with all the usual + groupon). Young, but incredible promise.

I finally weakened and went for the Wynns as well, with Groupon etc the price is really a pittance, and like you the $15.95 postage easily got me over the line without having to buy extra shizz I don't really need - happy days :D.....

I got some last week, sadly before the Groupon so at 18.52/btl - which is still a pretty good deal really. I went for the Limestone Ridge this time around. Some Cab/Shiraz (classically Australian) in my cellar will do well.

I'm looking forward to trying this vintage of the Wynns, I also went for the Limestone Ridge a few weeks back and was really happy I did, absolute class in the glass....Great minds and all that!

I missed all the fun you lot were having over the weekend. Probably a good thing too (according to Mrs QF WP)

Looks like Cellarmasters are being dishonest. Looking at buying a bottle of Dom Perignon and in the website it clearly states:
"Call 1800 500 260 to purchase a single bottle for $239.99 (plus delivery and handling)".
They are only offering a 3 pack online. They have stock listed as available.
What are my rights here?
I rang and was told that a manager is not allowing them to split the stock as separate bottles, despite it saying that on the website.
What's this called, false advertising? Surely there is protection for consumers about this.

"Bait & Switch", or truly is an error made by whomever loaded the message online and the CSA is correct advising one bottle can't be sold (but at that price, they want all revenue).

Total agree B Man. Tried the 2013 St Henri last year at a penfolds tasting and it was second only to the RWT 2014. Not sure why Halliday rated it so low.

From a Cracka email (assuming you'll be sober enough to order after the Melbourne Cup):

Lallier Grand Rosé Champagne.

What sets this super premium rosé apart is that it is sourced exclusively from Grand Cru plots in Aÿ, Verzenay, Oger and Cramant. To give a little perspective, just 8.5% of vineyard land in Champagne is Grand Cru, so we're talking the cream of the cream.

This Champagne is matured for a minimum of 3 years to build complexity too, resulting in a seriously fine pink bubbly made by a Champagne producer who is over 110 years old.

Top fizz like this normally comes at a price, and the Australian RRP of this rosé is $95/bottle. As a little Melbourne Cup special, however, you can have it for $54.99/bottle in six packs - that's $40 off PER BOTTLE.

NV Lallier Grand Rose Brut Grand Cru - 42 % OFF | $54.98 A Bottle | Cracka Wines

Deal ends midnight 13 Nov

St Henri is back online at CM. This was a standout for me at last year's Penfolds tasting but was priced out at $100/bot (Halliday's 90 rating seems strange). Great price with Groupon voucher

I'm in. HH gave it 96 and called it "a lovely, lovely wine", 93 WF.
Apparently has 4% Cabernet in it.
