The MR Cabernets are Wills Domain Cuvee D Elegance. Bought some 14’s and their Shiraz. For some reason I preferred their shiraz when I last visited their cellar door.

JD Cellars latest offer seems to be Montalto 2017 Estate Pinot Noir for $35 - I've ordered 6 based on some very positive reviews from Halliday, Decanter, Vivino and a few other minor critics. Never heard of the winery before but they do have a little buzz about.

Regardless of how these turn out, it seems that good Aussie Pinot is creeping down in price as vineyards in Vic and Tas start to come online - I remember when it was taken as gospel that a good Pinot had to cost more than $50. Having said that, drinking great Pinot still seems to require a second mortgage.

It is very good. I shared a dozen of each of the Estate and the cheaper Pennon Hill PN 2017 with a couple of friends. Bought on Sippery for $32 and $24 respectively. The Estate is marked as Out of Stock there now.

Both scored 95 (Gold) in the same class at the National Wine Show last year.

have you tried one yet Dr?
My DM here told me he reckons he has 200 out the back!

Could be worth a punt regardless. CR is doing double cashback today - and it tracks at the full price, not the secret selections price (which is fairly normal)
I just ordered 4 and effectively only paid for 3.
