Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

No idea. It does the same for me now. and the whole 4 for 40 promo link from the main page is gone. I'd swear it was showing as valid from the 15th - 28th earlier today.

Searching for jaraman doesn't return any cabernet any more either.
maybe they canned the deal.

might be worth screenshotting the deal still showing from the link and emailing them.
My order went through ok at $120, and $8.72 cashback aswell. Now adding at full price, most likely a price error. Here is a screen shot that still shows 4 for $40 deal via order receipt

Picked up 3xTaylorsJarman from local LiquorLand(Coles) this afternoon, the other 3 will be restocked tomorrow and ready for pick up. At the shop were the same @ $24 ea.
Sampled this evening, enjoyed it, would say - very good value!

Which vintage did you get? Going to pick mine up tomorrow!

Fascinating conversation but mildly frustrating in that Liquorland and First Choice don't deliver to TAS* nor do they have bricks and mortar establishments, we might be the smallest state but surely as an online business they can bung something in a carton and mail it off at the customer's expense no matter where they reside 😐

*except for: We do not service Tasmania except for suburbs within postcodes 7004, 7005 and 7250.

I picked mine up yesterday in South Australia. I asked the guy the behind the counter about the pricing, he replied with “ Liquorland aren’t going to be stocking it anymore, so they are clearing it out of their warehouse until it’s all gone “

Interesting. Why would Liquorland stock other Taylor’s wines but not the Jaraman... plus there wasn’t similar sale for the Shiraz.

For Under Wraps items that are out of stock, do they ever come back into stock again or thats it finished until the next vintage?

Hi all,

Does anyone know much about Byrne Vineyard? Dan's have both their Sangiovese and Grenache at 6 for $99, whereas their own site has them listed as $59 a bottle.

Trying to gauge the quality of wine and credibility of the base price. Vivino has limited number of reviews.

I do not recommend the sangiovese. Hot mess.

Anyone confirm what it is, or if it's worth it? I have a $30 voucher I wanna use with the website.

Curtis Family Vineyards ? Any comments if worth it? Looks like a long standing deal.

oh dear, only got it yesterday and havent tried it yet.
As its direct from Supplier, is there a case for returning it?

Sorry, posted in haste while going to lunch. Here is my tasting note from the bottle delivered yesterday: "Clocking in at a massive 15% alcohol. Dirty ruby colour, bricking brown edges. Nose with secondary characteristics, touch of autumnal leaves, sweetness, earth, dusty, maybe sour plum. Palate nice dusty touch with some leatheriness, but very sweet oak/fruit, a bit of heat, slight jamminess. All tannins integrated. Acid sticks out a bit on the finish. Is it added?"

I am disappointed because I checked the alcohol content and it was 14.5%, which is at the high end of what I am prepared to accept for Sangiovese. It's labelled as 15% on the bottle. It's probably a good buy for at sub $10 after generous cashback, but not the type of wine I like to drink. I am going to add it to my cooking stash.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try over the weekend and see how it goes. Appreciate your feedback
