I'd trust his judgement more than some randoms on Vivino.

Fair enough. Didn’t try the 15 but I did buy the 12 back when it was on similar sale on VM and was nice after few years of cellaring when it mellowed down a bit. The 12 definitely wasn’t $50 wine, $25 was probably the right price but WB decided to label it above the Grey so had to price it accordingly. Maybe 15 is better...

There are some respectable people who review there (not me ), quite a few of them also post on AFF. Similar to professional wine reviewers one need to pick and choose.

Yep, I ended up with 2009 SBS. An old white is much less appealing than an old red...hadn't even contemplated that could be what would turn up.
