Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Would have been better on MWG, but have picked up a few items on TWC. Sadly, no Dr Edge Oregon Pinots available for me to try :(

These days both sites have almost the same stock.
Safer to use TWC when possible as MWG sometimes cancel orders using referral codes.

This happened to me a few weeks ago when ordering a few bottles of Vanguardist MVG on sale, but I just replied to the cancellation email pointing out that the referral was legit (someone on AFF actually) and they reinstated the order, apologized (saying it was an automated process) and knocked off an extra $10. So actually my customer experience with them has been pretty good so far.

I think my pick of the TWC free delivery is probably the Yarra Yerring Underhill Shiraz 2017 - just $80 (RRP 125) with the referral discount for a quality winery that will rarely do decent sales!

A little incentive to buy at the SiPPERY

sippery4972

Gives $15 off order, i think it may be orders over $180

Had it recently, fantastic drop!

One piece of advice, drink it sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the steer. Halliday said after tasting in 2018 to drink by 2039 but sometimes based on his crazy long dates I fear that guy is happy with vinegar..

Any ideas what the latest Langtons Confidential is? LANGTON'S Confidential Lxx_VI Riesling 6 Pack, Mount Barker 2018 | Langton's Fine Wines

Confidential
Mount Barker Riesling
2018

You’re onto a sure thing with a six-pack of this 2018 Confidential WA Riesling. Yes, the price is right at just $99 for the case (that’s over 50% off RRP). More importantly, this is one impressive white by a producer who is known for it. Buy a little for now, and a little for later.

Riesling was the first variety bottled by this popular producer. Over thirty years later, they’re still making stunningly refined examples, just like this one. Wonderfully aromatic and generously laden with citrus curd, granny smith, pear, and just a hint of unexpected spice, this is sophisticated winemaking backed by experience. A fine line of acidity and minerality keeps things fresh, making this young Riesling fit for the long haul (if you can wait).

Received my Wynns too in a Tin Cylinder.

Also on the Langton Confidential, got sent an email from my Langton broker on a very similar (most likey the same wine):

Howard Park 'Mount Barker' Riesling 2018 (Mount Barker) - $16.50 per bottle in 6 packs (RRP $34)
Light, bright yellow hue with a sweetly ripe, open-knit lemony aroma recalling baked lemon pudding and lemon curd. The wine is full and open and generously-proportioned, with a dry finish and a hint of green nettles. Everything bodes well for a bright future. Long carry; clean finish. A very good and very promising young riesling."

My Wynns 2012 Shiraz arrived today in a tin cylinder. Looks great as a gift.
I remember buying that years vintage. They were commonly sold in the tin. Just a word of warning, there's something wrong with the materials used. After about 18 months the tin/label/packaging become all sticky. I took them out of the tins and threw the tins away.

I can confirm that it was sticky after I took the plastic wrapping out
