Thoughts on the 2004 Chalambar? Over the hill?
Nope.

How do you create an account with cellardoor.co?

Referral needed. Traditionally very difficult to get. But now may be open for a short period:

I recall there used to be a thread for referrals however looks like it’s gone now when I tried searching. Keen to get a referral to it also if anyone can help out!

Found this thread, although as Dr Ralph said, we probably have to wait and see whether the referral will open up again:

Is the Saltram Journal worth it at $60? 80-20? Any one tried?
I just pulled the trigger on some Mamre Brook 2016s.

I was looking at the Journal, but since I couldn't find any reviews for current vintages I decided against it. It gets some very decent scores on vivino for older vintages if that sways you..

Same here.
I decided to pull a trigger on 389. Another one was the Grandfather tawny. The tried and tested.
Since most of the time, you are not allowed to disc Penfolds items.

I have 2 bottles of the 2015 Saltram Journal at home that I haven't tried yet. 95 points Campbell Mattinson. Good value at $60 I reckon.

I decided to be nice to the wife and grabbed a Penfolds cellar reserve Chardonnay. RRP $55 down to $18.50

Anyone have experience with inviting people on Cellardoor? I seem to be able to invite for the first time and it gives me the option to add more than 1. Does anyone know if I just invite one person, does it close again or can I invite as many as I like in 'one big invite'?

Cheers

Journal is one of my favourites. I opened 15 before, it's as not good as I expected, maybe it opened too soon after arrviral. but 60 is a good value.

It says only 1 but I have successfully invited 3 members - each separately and the link has not disappeared (yet)

Seems I can refer too now. Send me your requests and I'll do as many as I can before they pull it. First in best dressed.
There is already a referral thread for this type of activity (@glasszon had already identified this and posted the link):
