I have to say that i would be disappointed as well. They have a free returns policy so I suggest you take it up with someone higher. Tell them that you would be willing to put the spend as a credit so you can order another case. The wine clearly is faulty which differs from you not liking it if it were perfect. You sure it wasn't a Cloudy Bay? Sorry couldn't help myself. I don't get one single cent from saying that they have been fantastic for me through over one hundred 'deals' that i have bought. All i have ever got is great service especially for the only 6 or 7 refunds I have made including that $99 garbage from west oz that was refunded in about one hour. So timratoo, get onto someone higher and I am sure you will do OK. Just out of interest, can i recommend two savvys for you, both really nice albeit not in the most complex category but i guarantee you will not be upset. one is Rapaura Springs savvy 2019 that Coles does, or BWS,or liquorland. The other is a wither Hills savvy thats around the place as well at under a tenner. I have had at least six of each and bang for buck, 8.5/10. Albeit understanding the price point. sure, a little sweeter because they play around with it at a price point but not a single dud bottle amongst them. hope this helps.
i am presently enjoying my first ever flametree kardonnay 2019 from wa , thankyou Kim, and it's an absolute beauty. talk about complexity, wow. its the cheapy of its $57 older sister and once you get past the first mouthful, and the fact that its been in the fridge for luckily...and i say luckily...for only 24hrs, once it warmed up a bit...its damn good. smooth as silk , new world style, not as buttery as a lot, but the creaminess hits you at the end palate. man its good. back to you. get onto the fo and tell them you are not happy jan.
if jan isnt there ask for trudie.
if they say get back to us in january, do not ask for april at all. just ask for JUSTIN DRY who sounds like an adult movie star and demand he looks after you.
let us all know how you get on.
