Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Yeah, however the clearance sticker said $30 for him.

In SA I've noticed $42, but I'd wait for cashback aka 20% as it happens pretty often
When BWS puts a line on clearance they gradually lower the price over weeks/months. They don't normally discount below 50% but I have seen it on occasion.

If you watch the stock in the stores I listed they will eventually drop it to $30. They have been at the current price for almost a month. That's often how long they'll wait before a further reduction. Sometimes they go 30 > 50 and sometimes 30 > 40 > 50% discount. No way to predict it really but I usually notice the most price drops during the first week of the month

The stores I checked here have it under Super Saver tho

Do you know what days they adjust the clearance sections?

20% cash back at Booze Bud via cashrewards. $25 cap.

So here's an interesting question..
Boozebud just contacted me to let me know that Aus post have lost my order in transit. And have very helpfully shipped me a replacement case at no cost. Which has a new order number.

I'm assuming my original order will still track as completed as far as CR is concerned right? as that's what they've billed against so they can't mark it as cancelled or returned. Anyone dealt with something similar before?

BWS make price changes almost every day. So do Coles group and DM.

I've never paid much attention to the promotional text (super saver vs clearance), perhaps I should. It might give some insight into which lines are likely to receive further discounts.

Has happened to me with Dan Murphy's previously. Still tracked ok.

I believe this is the wine Alex Langton posted. Original RRP $60 currently 30% off at those stores
My mistake. It was the Petaluma that was spoken off but I didn’t see anything other than the Stonewell Shiraz.
I couldn’t understand the comment on the $3 CR Shiraz until I went back and looked at the photo again either 😂😂😂
So much clearer now 🤓🤓🤓
Apologies for the confusion.
Thanks for the help

I never look at SS, because it's store by store and takes forever.

However with CB I'll consider now because $42 with 20% CB is still pretty decent.

In-regards to Black Label Coonawarra, First Choose have 20% CB.
They have 2015 and 2016 for $34
2012 $45, 2010 $50

Are any year's better? The 2027 is actually $38

15/16 would be roughly $25 after CB

Above is Cab Sav, but the Old Vine Shiraz is 2916 only $34

Old mate BWU20 writes: Wynns Black Label Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2015$32 at First Choice. Huon Hooke rates this vintage as one of the best, along with the 2012, and scores it 98 points. It’s a touch bigger than the average at 13.8%, rich and ripe with great depth and length yet elegance and finesse too. A wonderful Cabernet at a giveaway price that will improve for years. My score is 96+ points.

on the back of that I bought 6 2012s.

It says Ray Jordan 95pts, and JH 96pts on the First Choice link.

I'll have to check the 2015 ratings in comparison, as it's $34 vs $45

2015 JH 95pts, but noticed 98pts by another expert reviewer on Dan's link.

Both years are 3.9 with 500/1000 reviews on Viv.

Good one........but surprise surprise cellarmasters have taken all the champagne listings down.
Haha
FYI the Wynns Black label Cab Sauv from Boozebud is the 2015 vintage (now OOS)

This was priced at $25/bottle
Was that after CB? I looked a week ago and I thought it was $34.99? $25 seems ridiculous, even Dan's is $36.99

First Choice comes to around $25 after the 20% CB. I might grab 4 bottles of the 2015.
