Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Just called and confirmed he cant help me. Said more orders came through than stock exists and basically the system just indiscriminately cancels some orders. Im sure basically it was click an collect orders that were cancelled, but he said its all allocated and couldn't help me.
Could be store related. I also ordered C&c from Collingwood and had my order cancelled. Think I talked to the same guy on the phone who couldn't do anything.

Each new post is a dagger to the heart! Will try calling them this afternoon to complain that they cancelled mine but are now fulfilling other orders and see how i go, but as the refunds been processed i do not like my chances!
I'm one of the lucky one. Not trying to push the dagger deeper thought, just sharing my experience... I called today and was told that new stock will arrive tomorrow and that my dozen will be shipped from WA. Then I got the email 'Your order is on his way' a few hours later.

I ended up grabbing three of the Black Labels, there were none left Sunday morning. I asked the guy behind the counter about the Leeuwins, he said they had 14 but they were gone Friday morning as soon as it was reduced: "I got 6, the boss got 8...."

That is probably why

Phoning is definitely the way to go. Emailed customer service at weekend who were dismissive bordering on rude. Rang Mon pm after reading reports here - couldn’t be more helpful, said he could see some stock in warehouse but couldn’t confirm till next day. Next day, one order of 6 was shipped and now received, other 6 pack was cancelled and refunded, so happy overall.

As far as quaffers go, Woods Crampton is up there on my list (along with Sons of Eden)
There are a few cases back in stock at CM of the Woods Crampton Moculta Shiraz 2016.
VM were selling them for $35, RRP 'was' $45 I think.

Good use of a littlebirdie code, plus egift, plus check your shopback app for a $5 'earn more' bonus @ CM, and a posibility of 20% SB could see it come in around $11.95 - $16.20?

Edit: if its showing as $270 for you, add to cart from this link

Thanks for letting us know. These are great. I bought 6 of these before and really enjoyed. Full bodied, oaky, aniseed. Top end quaffa.

It looks like Liquorland are shipping my orders of the art series but First Choice cancelled my order of the Wynns 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

Sorry to be off topic, can you elaborate on the AmEx offer/which is the best Amex to apply for please?
Cheers
There is a thread on this forum set up to earn and churn credit cards. AmEx has some good offers at the moment eg.

On top of AmEx offers (which are better than visa and mastercard) you get in this offer free 75k qantas points if you only hold the card for a year

The points I have used for 389s and St Henri via Qantas wine given lack of flights.

OT If you're going to apply for one it would be nice to get a referral from someone on here to pay it forward or back. PM me if you'd like a referral

Now back to wine - why on earth doesn't my Amex have the Boozebud offer - not happy Jan

There are some other threads for AMEx stuff but I’m a big fan of my Amex Explorer card. As it’s not for this thread feel free to DM me if you want any deets about it or why I like it.
