Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Any experience with this Red Queen? I'm a fan of Dandelion's wines but $250 seems like a try on. I've never had his one and wondering of anyone had any thoughts on the wine for $90?
I can't remember the pricing being that high when I last tried it but a bloody nice drop and probably the best (for me at least) of the Dandelion crop...

I think you can get the extra 10% off with two different single bottles too if you didn't want to commit to a full case. Happy to be wrong from when I had a squiz earlier
Seems to be on selected cases only.
Generally I find Cellardoor lost its price competitiveness recently. Whats your experience?

It lost it when it went to the 3 tier "loyalty" program. Before then it was only good when there were promo offers (e.g. bonus case, birthday) or pricing mistakes. For an apparent friends & family site which should have no retail overheads/margins, it's a ripoff.

This was at Dan’s as an under wraps for $35. I bought a couple and have opened one and it was good. Don’t think I’d pay more than $50 for it though (my upper limit for almost anything)
Yeah, I grabbed 4 of them. I believe the vintage wasn't that flash, but I thought they'd make good gifts with their inflated RRP 😂

Note one off and capped at $30
"30% cashback is capped at $30 per user. Valid on 31 January 2022 from 5pm to 11.59pm AEDT"
Haha, I leapt on this last night and had to cancel this morning when I realised it started 5pm TODAY!

In other news I have finally bought a few bottles of the monolith that GWD is flogging (amongst some other bottles I know better to make up the dozen). Has anyone tried their 2013 C/S or 2016 shiraz? Is it worth $26? (I shan't even ask if it's a $300 plonk.)

Am all over the shop, probably making bad decisions all round... might need stopping!

Yesterday was the 31.1

@Bill Bosworth I've only had the Monolith Shiraz on and off over the last few years as a friend of mine insists on buying all their wine from GWD o_O . Anyhoo it's a decent, bold, rich and moreish number and good value at the price offered (not the purported RRP) but at this stage I'm happy to share a bottle with him and let him take the hit...

It was 30% from 5-11pm yesterday, not today.
Got the cashback confirmation by email this morning.
Oh man, I am not safe in charge of a credit card! I could have just looked at the date before cancelling... The site was telling me it was 3% in places and only had hints at 30%. Now I've cancelled my bottle of $39 roku gin... bah! Lucky this deal seems reasonably frequent.

... though who knows, maybe I have saved myself some trouble with SB, as the Liquorland transaction I've now cancelled was 11.41pm last night, and the SB tracked at 8am this morning at 3% not 30%!! Yawn
