Has anyone had the 2021 Pertaringa Yeoman Shiraz? Looking for something to spend my free $60 wine collective survey points on and $55 seems like it's a good price

I wasn't greatly impressed, the packaging is now a lighter bottle and standard capsule and the wine seems reduced in stature too. In a tasting set of 6 2021 Shiraz it managed 5th in my rating, 4th in the group rating. The wines preferred to it were Bethany Blue Quarry Shiraz ($43), Tenefeate Creek Yattalunga Shiraz ($50), Wild Winds McLaren Vale Shiraz ($27) and by me, Tenefeate Creek Block 5 Shiraz ($40). The Yeoman didn't have that lush body of the 2018 (the last one I previously bought), a leaner more structured style, but doesn't quite pull it off.

Very informative thanks, think I'll give it a miss then. I guess the drop in quality makes sense given the much lower RRP for this vintage.

I picked up a doz of St Hugo Cabernet 2010 for $24.50 a bottle last year from them, so yeah IMHO. One of the best Coonawarra CS I had.

No I haven't. The 2017 was going for $50 at winestar earlier in the year. Feels like the market has spoken on Hardys premium wines.

Yes, I was happy to pay a little more for the 2018. Also Claymore Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz 2021 at $180/12, Bleasdale Generations Malbec 2022 $117/6, less 10% over the past weekend.
