Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

This mob call me once or twice a day. Got no idea who they or how they got my number and can't stop them calling...
I'm reasonably confident you can stop them by saying please stop calling and take me off your list. I've done that now that they've had three chances to offer me something good, failed every time and been annoying with it.

They are an absolute PITA and I've finally got rid of them - even as you are saying no thank you they are haranguing you

Check your emails as I just got a "please come back to us" type email from Cellarone and it had a $30 coupon which is a bit more generous than normal.

Brought a 6 pack of the already on sale (and really quite good) St Hallett Higher Earth down to a spot under $25 a bottle - which goes for $55 normally and even at Dans is on clearance at $38.60 in a six.

Just in case anyone is feeling a bit flush

This guy made £8M selling a few years ago An investor's tale

This may be paywalled for some

And now the connoisseur KC has just gone back to the market to flog another 575 lots — mostly single bottles — in a sale that is likely to have made another £650,000.

I've pitched this one from Ozbargains, but did notice some nice comments/reviews from the good people of FF!

You can use code PROSPERITASSHIRAZ to take an additional $100 off which makes it $13 delivered

I signed up for Times using their offer of 1 pound for 6 months .. but in the end they didn't charge me anything. I used a disposable card and cancelled it already to prevent unexpected charges after 6 months. Will read the article now!

Two of my friends who ordered an original sixer, tried it and immediately ordered a dozen.

I've been tempted to try a Prosperitas for a while. A toss up between the McLaren (12 pack) or the Barossa version in 6 packs. Any intel on whether the Barossa version is worth the extra coin?

Thanks!

Sounds its a really good deal. How is this one compared to the Ulithorne Paternus Cabernet Shiraz 2020?
The Paternus is largely from the Coonawarra and Cabernet, so I suspect they're very different wines!

The Times regularly has a pound a month for 12 months. I've just recycled email addresses and the last time I had to ring to cancel they offered it for another 12 months for the same. I use virtual wise cards and they work well

I preferred the McLaren Vale 2021, seemed a bit smoother than the 2022 Barossa which had some hard tannin and slightly jangly acid. I went back for more of the McLarenVale with one of the $40 codes that worked for a 6-pack.
