Not the most exciting wines, not sure if I would have been happy paying $150 for it as they were offered before, but for $50 it is good. Will probably give away most as Xmas presents.

This is not for the wine snobs, but for some of us who just enjoy the game in many ways:

"Dozen deals" is a site I buy off every once in a blue moon. But a recent thing I liked. I got a dozen of the Prosperitas Icon Release 2021 McLaren Vale shiraz for $156 using code ProsperitasShiraz ($100 of their already discounted price)

Yes, I know all the RRP stuff is rubbish, but at the discounted price I am thoroughly enjoying this wine. And for me, presentation is a factor to be considered, even if not the most important. The wine itself is decent, and when delivered in a humungously heavy bottle, extreme deep punt, with a cork and wax, it just ticks all the fun boxes. Sure, it may not be the $90 wine it ostensibly was, but what $90 wine is actually that?

Ditto, cracked my second one tonite. I think it would be great with Lebanese char grilled food or even with a Pizza as it has a hint of sweetness (to my taste anyway). I thoroughly enjoyed it with the Panamg Thai curry!

Yeah, another one from the CW Wines stable. I preferred the 2021 McLaren Vale to the 2022 Barossa version.

I ordered 3 6-packs (before they went to dozens), with various codes to get about the price you paid, with a bonus as one 6-pack order turned up as 2 taped together.

Just saw a Penfolds advert for their 707 at $800 a bottle for 2022 release. I will stay with MossWood and Cullens Diana and will save about $650 a bottle.

"The 2022 Diana Madeline is a culmination of over 50 years of dedication effort and respect for the land to make the best quality wine. The vintage was perfect for elegant cabernet sauvignon, with warm conditions early and then cooler conditions making it an epic vintage with reds ripening earlier than usual. Hand harvested over 5 biodynamic calendar days from 12th March to 16th March, three flower days and culminating on a full Moon fruit day when Venus and Saturn were in conjunction.

An average of 30 days on skins. The wine spent 14 months in 55% new oak. In a mixture of biodynamic barriques and puncheons. The final blend comprises 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec.

The Cabernet Sauvignon vines were planted in 1971, Merlot 1976, Cabernet Franc 1976 and Malbec in 1978… beautiful old vine wine."

Would not they be entirely different CS wines from different regions? Probably not really comparable.
I would concur if such comparison was made with Wynns JR or like.

Judging by the wrapper on the bottle on the right, I dare guess that it is Katnook Odyssey. Using the same logic one on the left is probably Katnook Prodigy Shiraz but I would not bet my house on it.
