For a moment I thought Darwin Airlines was an Australian airline lol.

They fly to mostly secondary destinations. This is being reported as positive as it takes the Etihad brand to ports that are too small for EY to serve, the opposing view could be too small to make any significant impact.

It will be a big Winner for Etihad also expect a lot more to come from EY ........

Personally to me of much more interest is EY's investment in Air Serbia (49% ownership) with Air Serbia replacing its own loyalty program and adopting Etihad Guest. Some of the interesting redemption options (to me) BEG-MXP/ATH/IST for around 5,000 points, BEG-LHR/SVO/CDG for around 10,000.

EY seem to be investing big at the moment with 10 A320neo's (Dubai air show order) marked for Air Serbia and recent investments to Darwin airlines and Jet airways
