It’s good, but mainly a US based thing. I do enter some of my flights on there too though.

On that flight I'm travelling BA in WT; there is a BA terraces lounge and a BA First lounge - the First lounge is available to any OWE travelling on Oneworld. (I have entered the lounge twice on that basis; once as a guest of Anat0l when I was only SG, flying on QF, and once on under my own steam when flying J on BA).

There is another lounge at JNB that is occasionally used - and that I have been allowed to use as WP despite it possibly being outside the rules - called the Shongololo lounge (?spelling). I recommend this over the BA First lounge if you have access - nicer wines, more couches, African theme, and much better meals (even sushi and sashimi!)
