DL41 from LAX to SYD (B772LR N705DN) should arrive on Friday 10 November at about 1022 hours, 67 minutes late as on Thursday 9, takeoff was at 0051 against its scheduled Wednesday 8 departure of 2320 hours.

As DL40 from SYD to LAX is not timetabled to depart until 1220 hours, it should be punctual, once more demonstrating how if slots are available it can be very wise for international airlines to allow a greater than minimum time to 'reverse' the aircraft.
 
On Friday 24 November 2017, DL41 is an expected 52 minutes late with B772LR N707DN arriving in SYD at 1007 hours ex LAX.
 
The Wednesday 25 July 2018 DL41 with B772LR N705DN did not become airborne until 0135 hours on Thursday 26, so Friday 27 sees likely arrival at 0852 hours, 137 late.

DL40 SYD to LAX is not timetabled to push back until 1100 so it should in theory be on time, again showing how if feasible including slot availability and timetable considerations it can be terrific if international airlines allow longer than the minimum achievable 'reversal.'

On Friday 23rd of November saw DL41 LAX-SYD (N708DN) arrive to Sydney at 10 56am (166 min late). This has caused DL40 leave at 2 27pm today (127 min tardy). It is expected that arrival into LAX is around 8 41am.
 
DL41 LAX-SYD (B772LR N702DN) departed 54 minutes late and is expected to arrive at 0909 tomorrow morning (59 minutes late)
 
The LAX to SYD DL41 (B772LR N701DN) should arrive on Saturday 29 December 2018 at 0647 hours, 37 late. As the returning DL40 has a scheduled departure at 1235 this afternoon, it should be unaffected.
 
Wednesday 9 July sees DL41, the LAX - SYD (B772LR N701DN) arriving at 0909 hours, 59 minutes late. As DL40 is not scheduled to depart until 1235 hours early this afternoon, it should be punctual.

Thursday 7 March 2019 finds DL41, the LAX to SYD with B772ER N703DN suggested as arriving at 0910 hours, an hour late.

Quite a few competitors' flights from LAX are also delayed between an hour and two and a half hours.

DL41 from LAX to SYD is arriving on Thursday 27 June at 0713 hours, 38 minutes late with B772LR N795DN. As the return flight does not depart until a scheduled 0925 hours, it should still be timely.
 
Monday 15th of July sees DL40 SYD-LAX service (B777 N704K) with a revised departure at 14 08, 223 behind original schedule.
