Denied Entry to QF 1st Lounge Singapore

Anything's possible with $ and time.. and oneworld seems pretty flexible.
Ergo QRs lounges in SIN and BKK which are Class of Service only (and very good).

I'm somewhat surprised QF hasn't (to use the BA term) Concorded the F lounge in SYD.
If it wasn't for the toilets/ showers you could have the Spa end has F only with better dining, and then an 'enhanced version' for the status hoarders.

They virtually have with special areas and catering for some media peeps, First PAX, P1 & CL.

Traveling through in a week as QF WP on a 3K flight that leaves around 7pm. Will be interesting as unlike the other OW carriers where they can point to a different partner lounge this really isn't the case unless they point towards the J lounge.

Was there two weekends ago, and managed to beat the QF2 crowd. It is very crowded with QF2/292/36/52 and a few other flights going around the same time. Saw they were turning pax away at peak.

Will have to see what happens when I'm there next. End of Jan, QF2 > QF4025 (JL36)
I'll go through at the end of this month as JL36.

But i suspect given when I'll pop in (before any QF flights come in) it might not be that full yet.

They do be get a report on how many status passengers will be transiting, so guestimate how full the lounge will be.

I was flying CX to HKG in Y a couple of months ago and no problems getting in. It was an absolute zoo, so I just had the one glass of champagne and headed off to the BA lounge.

How long did you give to get over to T4 for the CX flight?

Likely to be any issues for a JL F PAX with no status approx 8pm on Sunday?
No better chance than any of the others here on other carriers, in fact likely worse without QF status.
JAL direct you to the Marhaba lounge and interestingly as mentioned before the QF F lounge no longer 'exists' on the OneWorld site for SIN lounges.

Still no harm in trying the QF First lounge, if no luck head to QR J. Beyond that QF J then Marhaba in that order IMO.

It has been that way for quite some time as others mention.

Key is to be there just after opening before QF flights arrive.

I often do MH610 SIN - KUL (2120 departure) in Y, and arrive at the SIN F Lounge just after 5pm, and have never been turned away. Then about 4 hours of dining experience ❤️‍🔥.

The last time I was in SIN, I arrived on 3K around midday and sat in the QF J lounge until the F lounge opened.
Was on the AY wet lease that night.

Suspect the SATS lounge that MH recommends in T2 is even worse.
MH check-in agents regularly try to
convince me going there rather than track over to T1 - maybe they have an internal record of my Changi movements when flying MH 😂🤣😂
