Did anyone ever fly on the Qantas 767-300ER with the split first/business class up front?

That was still ‘old skool’ days of F :) Seats were always in pairs back then. I think Pan Am had a single seat on one side right up in the nose of some of their 747 variants, but it was pretty rare. (And only then to squeeze in 5 rows instead of 4.)

The QF B747 had two (or three?) rows of single F seats in the nose (one either side). Enjoyed 1A a couple of times later on when they were sold as J. (But apologies if you meant 'way back' before the time of that!)

Yeah! before then!

Those 767 seats were the generation before flat beds, so around 2000? Maybe a bit later as well? They were the same seats QF had on their 747s - including the 747-400 when they first entered service - before they followed BA with the pods.

I remember SQ had 2-2-2 oversized cradle seats in their Regional F offering in the late noughties. Not sure when they were finally axed.

At least 2008 or later. I flew that configuration in 2007 CMB-SIN, connecting to the (then) new 380 in ‘R’.
