how does one combat seat reclining then?

Another subtle tactic I like to use is to firmly take hold of the head rest in front of me with both hands, and then violently shake whilst frothing at the mouth. Occasionally I will clamp the head-rest wings around target pax head first which seems to be marginally more effective.

I wonder what different reaction your WP would have when compared with that of an SG if subjected to this treatment.

To bring this back on topic, other benefits are:

* Dedicated "Premium Desk" - staff with 5+ years experience, who only deal with Plat members queries. Yuo are automatically transferred there when you ring the QF number and enter yoru FF details (unless they are busy and QF's "overflow" will take you to the first available CSA, generally in yoru capital city)
* Being able to request exit row or bulkhead seats (international flights only) and Premium Desk will pass the request through QF Seating...often I am put on hold or advised they will call me back
