Different AMEX platinum referral bonus offers?

I am trying to refer a friend to the platinum card but my offer is only 150k and I have found that on an iPhone (safari browser) the bonus is 225k without a referral link

Is there anyway of getting a referral bonus on a higher amount or does my referral code differ in bonus points based on which browser the link is opened in?

When I phoned Amex, they were not very helpful

Just wanting to get something our of referring and looking for some help please?

No one apart from Amex and its systems can say why you got the referral offer you can generate. Probably not much point in calling up to ask either, their call centres probably have no clue too.

Don’t think browser makes a different. Perhaps try opening your link in an incognito or private browser, that might help. If it fails, try again. However, not guaranteed to work either. Some have tried and succeeded whilst others have failed to get the higher offer to show.
