I would've have been happy to use it if it completely replaced the paper incoming cards, but when it was doubled up I am glad it has been scrapped for now.
When/if it replaces the paper cards I would be happy to use it again.

Problem is/issue is, while a person is overseas, they need access to wifi/roaming data.
Or if they are only a short trip to NZ, they could fill it in in Aust, from home before they leave for the trip, and back in that 7 days.
Its not like that there are places overseas, where we could pop in and do form filling online at a virtual office, safely for a price even.
Do places like that exist, where we could be guaranteed our data is secure, while overseas./?
Hotel wifi can be iffy security wise.
If using wifi overseas, we also have to make sure that its a secure one, or that you use a VPN.
Agree lots of people now have mobiles and they bring it overseas with them, and that they are post paid, but a lot of people do use prepaid too.
Telstra as far as I know, hasn't as yet brought back prepaid roaming, Optus has it (prepaid plans) for $10.
Lets see what it (the *updated* DPD when it comes), will have or need.

Now, if only NZ will take away the need to hand out 2 RAT (covid test kits) out to each arriving pax, and do the DIY on day 0/day 1, I would book to get to ZQN for my first time visit to this town this Oct.
Also the NZ pax declaration.
No big deal getting into NZ. You need to be vaccinated and you get a free RAT. Just self-test when you arrive! Just like some people I know who travelled to Australia when a self-test was necessary!!!
