Diners club companion card

You used to be able to add Diners to PayPal as a Discover card but the payment went through AUD:USD:AUD making it non-viable

I received this card and activated yesterday and used it this morning. However, the transaction is not showing under "Pending". Has anyone experienced this? I contacted Citi and they advised it should appear in few hours and they gave me an authorisation code to quote back to QR.

I booked a flight with QR which charged in USD and the airline has requested me for payment verification i.e. screenshot of the transaction appearing / statement ensuring it's a legitimate transaction. I have 48 hours to do so else they will cancel my flight ticket.

no credit card company will report transactions live, always takes a couple days or more and the airline knows this. It will take even longer if its a weeken.
Sounds like you are dealing with Indonesian Airline? thats a typical requirement for locals, but they let overseas customers off.

My ING, AMEX and Coles MasterCard appear in my internet banking immediately.

Diners have always been slow with me.
Amex is usually very quick after processing

The answer is in your contract, and terms and conditions. Your facility is with Diners, and Diners would transfer your charges to Citi, and you authorise Citi to pay Diners for you. You also authorise that there maybe delay with Diners not able to keep up to date with your credit limit, and that Diners may authorise your charges even when you are over your credit limit, and you promise to be held responsible for such situation.

Last Tuesday requested...shows on account but did not receive card today.......normally get cards within 3 days....where is it?

I applied the first day the product was available ( i dont know what day that was), and I got mine yesterday.

3 days is wishful thinking, unless you live next door to the factory. they aint gunna post it express.

It is finally showing as "Pending" in the transaction history today. It is not settled yet.
So, transaction was made on Saturday, and it shows on Tuesday.

Has anyone noticed if their credit score was impacted for requesting the linked Diners Club card? I haven't seen it in Credit Savvy yet but in Get Credit Score, the points went down (but that site doesn't tell me much about how it was reduced).

Diners is a charge card. This is dangerous for me...
The linked card discussed here shares its credit limit with your main card. In this case, effectively, it is a credit card.
They may have a few kinks to sort out though..

Does anyone find a way to use this card online with an intermediate payment like PayPal or MasterPass? I am not able to add my Diners card either one of them.

I called PayPal and they told me that Diners card is not available and cannot be linked to my PayPal account. Also, I have a US paypal account and tried to add and got the message: invalid card number.

I didn't get a credit check performed against me, but that's likely because it is just using the Visa credit limit that is already approved. My next credit score will get updated on September 17th.

I just got my normal citi statement
diners club points are listed in their own area, as are all transactions. Something i haven't been able to work out, how the points are calculated....

Spent $379.08 (Coles, WW and WW Petrol)
Points earned 520. I assumed it should be 2 for $1, 758pts

So tried to work it out by removing the petrol? but I can't make it equal the magic number of 520 points. So does anybody have an idea of how they came up with that number of points vs spend?

I can confirm that there's no credit enquiry. I rang Citi and was advised of this by each of the two CSOs that I spoke with.
