Discount for purchasing 9 or 10 tickets on the one flight

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has experience booking for 9 or more people on the one flight? Actually we have 9 plus 1 infant.
I am under the impression that for 10 tickets purchased the airline may offer 1 free, or is that only for travel agents etc, or is that still even available?

We are looking to fly either Emirates, Qatar or Etihad between Amman to either MEL or KUL return. Want to end up in KUL but would not mind a stopover in KL on the way.

Any advice on how I can maximise our benefit from booking this many tickets on the one flight would be greatly appreciated.

Give them a call as you might get a group travel rate, IMHO it is not a huge discount as I have organised it before.
