Had the same offers for Disneyland when we stayed at the HGVC Carlsbad a year ago.

When you are at DisneyWorld, you can attend their vacation club presentation and they give you a fastpass for all the family. The club actually sounded quite good value but we didn't have time to attend the presentation. Good question - what is your time worth?
