My understanding is that DJ AMEX earns 2.25 QFF per $ spend ONLY at supermarkets and petrol stations.

3 MR / $
1 MR = 0.75 QFF points
1$ = 2.25 QFF points

Elsewhere, the earn rate is lower and not worth thinking about.

At the very least, $99 will earn you 22,500 bonus QFF points.

In fact, we applied for two cards today (+1 and I).

Better yield than EDR CC (which offers 16,000 bonus points / $89).

Pity I could only alert AFF this morning at the moment I saw it.

My application number was in the 70s so apparently not many people was aware of this offer.

This info is correct and the offer appears periodically - I received this offer in December and took it up.

I use the card for all supermarket and petrol purchases but not at other stores.

I just found his old 7500 point (5625 QFF points) referral link if you get someone to sign up to an Amex card. I rang them and hey said it was not valid anymore but if you look closely at the Terms it says valid until 31/12/13. I used it with my partner as a referral and took a screen shot, it went thru so lets we how the application goes. Here's he link

Logging in there redirected me to my points summary page but the promised 'Register for bonus' button was missing. I called up and after a very painful call with a useless customer service agent I was told I'd be registered backdated to Mar 1...we shall see!

I tried today and it didn't work so I rang DJ Amex and they said that they were having trouble with the link and to try again tomorrow.

Thanks. Looks like I am registered then (even though I did not receive the offer).
I have 1000 bonus points, and re-counting the transactions there are only 9 above $10, so that would be why I have received 1000 bonus points (5+ above $10). Time to start decrypting I think

Just rang and had them manually register me for this promotion. Took less than 5 min on the phone. Apparently the problem is something to do with customers registered to earn QFF pts.
