DJ flights failing to credit in Velocity

I've noticed some oddities in the last month or so with VR.

I still have 1 VA flight and 2 DJ flights left to be credited from a trip in late August. The odd thing is, they're on the same booking as flights I took that credited the day after I landed.

And Shop and Earn is working perfectly for me. Bought half of an Angus and Robertson bookstore the other day and points in within a week.

Curiouser and curiouser.

A further update...

My "rule of thumb" of 80% of DJ flights being credited and 20% failing has continued since my initial post. Annoyingly, my last couple of failures have also required multiple calls to the Velocity Call Centre to resolve.

My partner flew SYD-CBR-SYD yesterday, and I just checked, so far nothing credited.

As much as I"m annoyed with QF at the moment (see QF threads) at least they credit you almost invariably on the day you fly, or the next day...

Flights from 24 September have still not been credited. I've filled in the on-line claim form, but this does not seem to produce a response.

Last time I did one of these it took several weeks before the points appeared.

Hi

Further to my post of last week, regarding the great response from Velocity fixing my problem with points not posting for the past 2 months, I am very happy to say that this appears to have been resolved well and truly, with Monday's flight now appearing in my account with no intervention! :p

I have seen enough acknolwdgement from DJ and Velocity to know that they realise that there have been problems since the implementation of Navitaire, but I have to say that their commitment to fixing the issues is 2nd to none.

Can I suggest that a call to Velocity highlighting the outstanding points should see the matter resolved quickly.

or 3 or 4 days like my last 2 qantas flights. ;)
Really delays in posting aren't too great and issue for me, as long as they get there eventually.

Points finally credited one month and two days after the flight. Not a very good performance.

All things aside, that was the day of Navitare's failure IIRC?

If so, those flights have just credited for me aswell today, I beleive a lot of these have been manually processsed and has taken time to get all the information compiled and entered, and then executed across us PAX.

I can only imagine that the Points transfer has been delayed by Navataire. As per my previous post once my backlogged points were resolved I have had no problems with my past 3 flights with points appearing within 2 business days at the most.

Personally I am happy to cut Virgin more than a bit of slack over this, as I can imagine that aside from impacted flights there must have been a huge catchup relating to the outage and the subsequent "temporary" workarounds until the problem was fully resolved.

My DJ flights on Sunday were all credited on Monday when I checked so maybe they are getting on top of the issues and catching up. One can only imagine the mess they have been working through after the system collapse:D

Still waiting for my outstanding DJ/VA flights to credit, as well as 10000 points from Virgin Money to go through.

Willing to give VR a bit more time but VM are dead to me ;)

There is an issue here DJ need to address.

To put in perspective, I had my 0600 QF flight MEL-BNE showing by the time I got to work in BNE (0830).

YMMV. I've had QF flights take 3 or 4 days. I've had DJ flights credit in 5 hours. Put in perspective that of my last 4 or 5 QF flights, 1 has taken 4 days, one 3 hours and the others 24 or 60 hours. In that same time frame I had a DJ flight on the morning of the day that they switched back to the primary system. I had to request a credit for that flight but otherwise my DJ flights take 24 to 48 hours.

I'm still waiting for my return MEL-SYD flight to be credited. Flight was on 10/10. The outbound SYD-MEL flight on the 7/10 credited on the 14/10. This has happened the last few times I have flown DJ going back as far as August, for some reason the outbound flight credits a few days after but the return takes forever.

I have logged a claim on the website as well about a week ago for the return flight.

Should be interesting to see how tomorrows flights credit.

I'm still waiting on Velocity points from Europcar since August, claim logged in September for this also.

I'm waiting on Hotelclub for Velocity points too, but they are painfully slow anyway.

Velocity really need to lift their game, I know it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but frankly I just want my points and SC's in a decent time frame and don't have the time to be sitting on the phone chasing all of this up, which I shouldn't have to do anyway.

Sorry for the rant but It's just frustrating.

PER-SYD flown 3/11 credited 8/11.
SYD-PER flown 5/11 not credited yet.

I'm checking every day because I suspect I'm going to fall just short of silver with no plans for another trip before the end of my membership year (November 30).
