I have a FASA MEL-LAX, in Dec - but booked last month. When I found it, it was hiding amongst all those zillion pointers. As said earlier, just enjoy the hunt.

I've found them....but I'm looking for four:shock: I might be fighting a losing battle but I'll just keep searching:-|

At the end of the day the kids might have to sit elsewhere or stay at home.

Appears to be quite a few F seats SIN-SYD on QF32. I've booked 6 FASA seats (3 lots of 2 seats) over the past six months. All at the classic award level (plus taxes). Booked F as finding two cheap JASA seats was not happening.
Bookings were all made about 2-3 months prior to flying. Usually have to fly mid-week.

I have had good success with FASA seats (3 booked so far this year);

1. When searching, look for 1 seat at a time to start with (applies to FASA and JASA).
2. Try careful routing selection. Can't find SYD-SIN-LHR? Look for SIN-LHR and SYD-SIN separately.
3. The start/end of the school holidays go very quickly.
4. Personally, I have never found more than 1 FASA at classic points levels per flight.

Pretty slim.

There's 1 J SYD-FRA to be found for the whole month.
Since CDG is codeshare BA, you won't get ANY cheap ASAs to there - the only cheap ASAs are on QF metal which means LHR or FRA.

A comprehensive search would be;

1 person
Search SIN-LHR for the dates you want
Search SIN-FRA for the dates you want
Search SYD/MEL/whatever-SIN for the dates you want
Try to put the two flights together to see if it's still cheap
Try 2 people on the cheap flights

Book whatever your best options are.
It takes quite some time (but it's very satisfying when you get what you want).
