Do redemption seats "devalue" the First Class product?

Verging on OT but I just tried to find details on QF's arrangement with AF (including which lounge in CDG we can use) and it is impossible to find anything on the QF website. There is no lounge listed in Paris at all. Relevant because the La Première Lounge at CDG is one of the closely guarded benefits for AF F PAX and on my short list of lounges I want to try. I have been trying to find a paid seat in F on the QF/AF codeshare SIN-CDG and so far, no luck. I don't know if this is a question of availability or if it isn't offered on the code share.
They can't spell "indigneous".... are you surprised? :-)
But seriously.... there is no AF F inventory on the QF flight number... I have checked with QF themselves.
Hence the origin on this thread! I too am desperate to try AF F... and I think I might just pay for it :-(

I thought your OP was complaining that there was no AWARD inventory on the codeshare flight.
My comment was that there is no REVENUE inventory either!
So if we want to try AF F, not only will we have to pay for it, but we will have to pay for it directly to AF and not earn anything towards our QFF accounts.

Sorry I got confused with another post.... but similar theme!

So #Max Samuels when you do buy your F ticket on AF remember this added perk.

But it will also be expensive.
Maybe #amaroo will be tempted. ;)

I'm tempted, maybe as a special treat on the way home from long service leave.
