Correct, but this is not about BA.
How well do you know the Qantas Frequent Flyer and Oneworld Lounge access rules...
Thanks for replies, guessing that Gold FF = Emerald (/OWE) is only way to go
I couldn't find anything about anyone in the thread mentioning BA Executive Club frequent flyer membership.Read the first line of @trippin_the_rift post, unless I am reading this wrong?
......
Although it may probably have asked/ framed in the manner that was not intended there would be those who would agree that Gold FF status with BA is the way to go as BA offer LTP.
BA don't have Platinum, they offer BA LTG (OWE)

I saw a recent anecdote (SYD First IIRC) that the least restrictive policy was applied.Did QF ever state if a WP=OWE when flying QFi metal and entering one of their own lounges?
As in, people have talked about it without much (or any) sign of proof.
As a WP flying QF F I've had success on multiple occasions in multiple F lounges guesting other pax on different QF flights. I have preceded it with, "I know we're not on the same flight..." and the staff have not batted an eyelid. They did not mention anything at all. Not even a "just this once" type of remark.I saw a recent anecdote (SYD First IIRC) that the least restrictive policy was applied.
As far as the AusBT article goes, normally the author will come back to the comments and answer / reply to comments that may refute article content. They have not so far.
