As per the title. Say I book a villa that sleeps four adults and two children under my name as a platinum guest. Would the free breakfast and lounge access be granted to all in the villa if they're registered guests?

From the Accor website: "The standard breakfast is complimentary for all registered guests staying in the member's room, unless otherwise indicated in the Special Terms of the reservation. It does not include room service or tips." And, "Enjoy complimentary access to the Executive Lounge, if available at the hotel. Available for you and registered guests staying in your room."

My take is that anyone within your room is eligible. So if you booked one room for 4 people, you should be fine. If you booked 2 connecting rooms for 2 people, perhaps not.

The T&C say no, but in reality I've booked multiple rooms at several properties in APAC and always received breakfast for all guests.

My personal best is breakfast and drink vouchers for 7 rooms (14 guests) at Novotel Melbourne on Collins 😂

Yes.

Unless you’re staying at a place that refuses to honour published benefits on the Accor website.

Looking at you Sofitel Phillipine Plaza Manila.

Yep, we have travelled several times with our parents and book 2 rooms and always get breakfast and lounge access included for them too. Quite often they will also receive a room upgrade of some type and have even received welcome gifts

I can see the clickbait news article now: Hotels Hate This Person (followed by a paywall subscription link) 🤣 🤣

Well the Novotel Preston would agree to disagree (stating that they do not offer complimentary breakfast for Platinums weekday AND weekend). Thankfully I only paid $15 to add on the breakfast. Still gave them five stars in the survey though
🤣🤣

I have a doubt here I booked my stay as accor gold but Now I am platinum member will I be getting the free breakfast for my upcoming stay

Yes, but your membership number will have changed slightly. Email the property and ask them to update your membership number so they can see the correct status attached.

Yes looks like there is a single char change, But I have one more question is my old membership id dead ? like I was using that to transfer my points to accor points from my bank do I need to update this new accor member id ?

It's a good question.

I don't believe the membership number will be dead as the actual unique identifier for you is roughly the second half of the string (minus the last number which seems to be a check digit).

But generally speaking, transfering any points to ALL doesn't yield great value so I can't say I'd recommend it. Have a look at what other transfer partners your bank has - I can almost guarantee you'll get better value from the other programs...
