Does this QF 747 have a First cabin?

It doesn't always work out seat for seat.

Some years ago I had 2K in J for a BNE-AKL on QF25 in a 3 class configuration. A little time before the flight it was again subbed for a non skybed 744 and the whole cabin was reallocated by seating preference, not selected seating; I ended up in 1A.

In the end there was another late notice swap and I at least ended up in a Skybed.

Here's an FT thread on my adventure: Dang It! QF have switched Configs on me! - FlyerTalk Forums

i had a great swap - although it was planned and i just wasn't aware. FJ have been leasing a United 747 to cover one of their 747's while it is being refurbed. so today i landed in United's brand new first class instead of FJ's pretty averaged business class. Score!!

felt bit strange flying on a QF flight number, operated by FJ and leased to United and still earning QFF points and SC's! Pretty good value to - $700 for 80 sc's in F class ;)

Another mystery as to when Qantas decides to reallocate seating by seating preference from scratch or just move people around willy nilly when there are aircraft substitutions. It would be nice if they are consistent in their approach so you don't end up from the first seat in WHY to the last seat when an aircraft substitution occurs.
