I just received a "Latest Flying News" email from Qantas. I noted the following:
Happy hour now starts at midday

As we continue to focus on improving your flight experience, complimentary beer and wine on domestic flights will now start from 12 noon instead of 4pm.#

I note the linked page has not yet been updated as it was still showing "on flights departing from 4pm everyday".

Just about to post this too!
This is a good move.

# Beverage offerings vary between flights and cabins. Changes to beer and wine service timing excludes select domestic flights that are more than two and a half hours in duration, which offer service on flights departing from 9.00am

Perhaps Vanessa did more when meeting frequent flyers than say sorry (again), but listened.

Yeah 4pm did seem ridiculous. Cheers! 🍻

I'm assuming this applies to Q400 services as well. Doesn't seem to have a caveat to exclude them but they've often been treated differently.

Maybe the roll out is a bit slow or they forgot to load, only soft drinks on QF1520 yesterday (14:50) dept
