Domestic to International transfer Sydney Airport November

Can confirm this morning, that the buses are back to 15 min in the morning.

An interesting thing I've never really noticed before but the corridor where the bus drops you off leads into the first/business queue, I haven't done the D to I bus for a long time and I thought the layout was different?

30 minutes - but word of warning, ignore the time stated at gate 15. Last time I did it we had so many pax they ran it 15 minutes earlier. Just wait at Gate 15, don't wonder off.

Thanks for the tip I will definitely be doing that. My domestic flight arrives 4 hours before I need to board, however I don't trust my domestic will be on time and I also want to spend some time in the lounge. I rather be extra early than panic down to the wire.

Curious to know how you went with your transfer experience and Flounge time @KSC

Flight from Mel-Syd ended up delayed by 30 mins as a seat in economy was malfunctioning requiring a maintenance person to come on board. Economy passenger ended up getting a seat in Business for the short flight.

Was able to get to the transfer bus quickly and only waited 5 minutes and going through security was a breeze only taking about 10 minutes.

Inclusive of leaving time for boarding I had a solid 2 hours to spare at the lounge. I had a meal and a shower and the time flew by. Definitely not enough time for a massage as well. I was able to browse some shops quickly after staying at the lounge.

Thanks for the update @KSC , hope you enjoyed your trip.
Our MEL-SYD leg has already changed and we now have 3 hours to transfer - and all on one PNR. Happy that we will not be too stressed even allowing for minor delays.

I think next time I will leave a 5-6 hour gap, or come super early and have both a lunch and dinner service in First lol.
